Het eerste deel is nog een asfaltweg maar bij de ANWB-paddenstoel ga je linksaf een goede gravel weg in die even daalt en daarna best aardig oploopt. Na die helling is het al snel uitfietsen. Er is redelijk wat fietsverkeer maar de weg is breed zat.
