Avant d'accéder à la route détaillée sur le profil ClimbFinder il faut gravir les 7 premiers kilomètres du Col de La Madeleine côté Tarentaise ce qui augmente la longueur et la dénivellation : 13,8km 1055M dénivelé et 7,7% moyenne.
Nous avons été surpris car la route est en excellent état jusqu'au final, seule une gouttière traverse celle-ci dans les 2 derniers km.
Recommandé de partir à la fraiche le matin car il fait assez chaud à certains endroits non à l'ombre.
Le profil est assez fidèle ce qui rend compte de la difficulté des derniers 6 kilomètres.
Le final se termine à un chemin accessible uniquement en VTT ou Gravel et les points de vues sont magnifiques, par temps clair on aperçoit le Mont Blanc.
