Mooie klim in het uiterste zuiden van het Zwarte woud. Redelijk gelijkmatig. Hij begint in het stadje, maar je bent vrij snel in open velden en daarna een lang stuk door het bos. Bovenin trekt het opnieuw open. Omdat je zo dicht bij de Zwitserse grens zit ook hier mooie uitzichten richting de Alpen. Als je doorrijdt wordt je niet meteen getrakteerd op een echte afdaling. Ik ben zelf zo'n 20 km op dit hoogplateau blijven rijden tot ik weer de afzink kon maken naar Todtmoos.
