Nice climb in the extreme south of the Black Forest. Fairly even. It starts in the town, but you're pretty soon in open fields and then a long stretch through the forest. At the top it opens up again. Because you are so close to the Swiss border, here too you have nice views towards the Alps. If you continue, you are not immediately treated to a real descent. I have been riding for 20 km on this high plateau until I could make the descent to Todtmoos.
Mooie klim in het uiterste zuiden van het Zwarte woud. Redelijk gelijkmatig. Hij begint in het stadje, maar je bent vrij snel in open velden en daarna een lang stuk door het bos. Bovenin trekt het opnieuw open. Omdat je zo dicht bij de Zwitserse grens zit ook hier mooie uitzichten richting de Alpen. Als je doorrijdt wordt je niet meteen getrakteerd op een echte afdaling. Ik ben zelf zo'n 20 km op dit hoogplateau blijven rijden tot ik weer de afzink kon maken naar Todtmoos.
