Add to this the good road surface and beautiful scenery (especially from the little bridge you have nice views both ways) and since it is right on the through road from Vaals to Gulpen (from the other chance it might be difficult to cross) you don't even have to detour most of the time.

De toegangsweg naar de parkeerplaats van de Abdij Sint-Benedictus. Je mag hier rijden en bezoekers van bijv. de kapel zijn zelfs welkom. De kloosterlingen zelf willen wel rust dus geniet in stilte van dit pareltje.
En een pareltje is het want hoewel de klim zo kort is dat je deze op de macht kan doen, moet het wel uit je tenen komen. Tel daarbij het prima wegdek en de mooie omgeving (vooral vanaf het bruggetje heb je fraai uitzicht beide kanten op) en aangezien deze pal aan de doorgaande weg van Vaals naar Gulpen ligt (vanaf de andere kans is het misschien lastig oversteken) hoef je er meestal ook niet eens voor om te rijden.
