The access road to the St Benedict's Abbey car park. You are allowed to drive here and visitors to e.g. the chapel are even welcome. The monastics themselves do want peace and quiet so enjoy this gem in silence.
And a gem it is because although the climb is so short you can do it on power, it has to come out of your toes. Add to this the good road surface and beautiful scenery (especially from the little bridge you have nice views both ways) and since it is right on the through road from Vaals to Gulpen (from the other chance it might be difficult to cross) you don't even have to detour most of the time.
