I hadn't bothered to look at the profile of this climb (scanned an area, saw the climbing points and that was it). Maybe it's just as well because this one is pretty tough with a high average percentage. From a lovely valley up through a forest with an already steep slope. At the sign "built-up area" the road slows down for a while and you think you're cycling relaxed into the residential area, but that is not the case because there the road really goes up and that with already tired legs. So it is hard work.
Ik had niet de moeite genomen naar het profiel van deze klim te kijken (scande een gebied, zag de klimpunten en dat was het dan wel). Misschien maar goed ook want deze is behoorlijk heftig met een hoog gemiddeld percentage. Vanuit een lieflijk dal door een bos omhoog met een al stevige helling. Bij het bord "bebouwde kom" neemt het even af en denk je relaxed de woonwijk in te fietsen maar dat valt even tegen want daar knalt de weg echt omhoog en dat met al vermoeide benen. Afzien dus.
