De helling begint eigenlijk al bij de spoorlijn maar dan kom je al snel verkeerslichten tegen, dus logisch dat het aangegeven traject pas vanaf daar begint. Je volgt een drukke weg maar rijdt zelf over een fietspad met uitstekend asfalt en pikt best wat groen mee. Het hek van Park Sonsbeek aan de linkerkant geeft een leuke indicatie van de helling.
