De klim begint eigenlijk al bij het bruggetje over de beek wat een mooi ruig dalletje is met moeras en omgevallen bomen. De weg stijgt even, daalt dan weer en gaat daarna met een leuke bocht naar links verder omhoog een zijdal in en daarna richting de hoogvlakte. Goed asfalt maar het dalende stuk het beekdal in (dus voor de klim), is gravel - wat wel uitstekend te berijden is.
