From Pola de Lena I cycled up this climb towards Gamoniteiro. The constant steep percentages and wide track make for a false sense of stagnation.

The Alto de Cabertoria is a great climb. The road surface is very good and wide but watch out for cars. Especially the middle part is very heavy with constantly double figures. There is little or no time to enjoy the rough landscape because it is constantly raking to not stand still and this for 10 km.
In the Tour of Spain and Asturias, this climb is regularly on the menu and even the pros are scared of it because if they continue from the foot, they count with minutes time difference.
