Salita che fino al bivio per monte Muggio è sempre pedalabile, poi diventa più impegnativa fino al cima. Fatta in settimana e ad aprile, quindi traffico pari a zero. Nei week end estivi ho paura che ci sia un gran viavai di macchine e moto. A Vendrogno, in prossimità della chiesa, presenza di fontanella. In cima possibilità di ristoro (non so se sono aperti tutto l'anno). Asfalto ottimo fino al bivio, poi rimane comunque in buono stato. La salita regala sempre scorci meravigliosi sul lago e sulla Grigna. Possibilità di abbinare la salita al passo Agueglio per completare l'agnello oppure di proseguire sulla ciclabile della Valsassina

The first part is nice and not hard except for few steep short sections but be aware that the last 6 km will test your legs painfully. The view on top is really amazing!

Beautiful climb overlooking the Lecco branch of the lake, very long, perfect asphalt with regular gradients in the first 10 km, then a couple of km of falsiopiano prepare for the grand finale, 6 really hard km leading to the Alpe. Nice walk to the top. Not to be missed!!!
Bellissima salita che sovrasta il ramo lecchese del lago, molto lunga, asfalto perfetto con pendenze regolari nei primi 10 km, poi un paio di km di falsiopiano preparano al gran finale, 6 km davvero duri che portano all'Alpe. Belle camminate da fare in cima. Imperdibile!!!

16/9/2024. Partito da Bellano, i primi 2 km sono "stimolanti", poi sino ai mille metri di altitudine le pendenze non sono particolarmente elevate. Gli ultimi sei km invece sono abbastanza duri e - secondo me - con una media del 10％. Traffico inesistente (ma sono salito di lunedì). Molto intelligente la segnaletica con i km mancanti all'arrivo, l'altitudine e le medie delle pendenze del tratto successivo. manto stradale buono. Per la discesa si possono scegliere diverse strade. Nei pressi ci sono varianti interessanti.

Beautiful long climb that starts directly from Bellano via a lot of hairpin bends. From the village you haves great views of Lake Como. You then cycle through the forest and meander through several villages, with the gradients becoming milder. At about 6 kilometres before the summit, the percentages get considerably spicier and the road surface a bit worse too. From 3 kilometres from the summit, you are then treated to stunning views over Lake Como and Lake Lugano beyond. An absolute highlight around Lake Como that is well worth it!
Prachtige lange klim die direct vanaf de rivieroever in Bellano direct via een heleboel haarspeldbochten begint. Vanuit het dorp hb je een prachtig uitzicht op het Comomeer. Daarna fiets je het bos en en slinger je door een aantal dorpen, waarbij de stijgingspercentages milder worden. Op ongeveer 6 kilometer vor de top wordt de percentages flink pittiger en het wegdek ook wat slechter. Vanaf 3 kilometer van de top wordt je vervolgens getrakteerd op prachtige vergezichten over het Comomeer en het daarachter gelegen meer van Lugano. Een absoluut hoogtepunt rond het Comomeer die zeer de moeite waard is!

La salita da Bellano fino a Narro dove effettivamente inizia il tratto duro è molto gradevole spesso in ombra con fontana a Vendrogno. Traffico veicolare limitatissimo. Trovata della sabbia sul ponticello del tratto in leggera discesa a circa metà salita e questo poteva risultare pericoloso. Gli ultimi 6km sono decisamente faticosi specialmente con temperature sopra i 30°C.
Rifarei la Vendrogno escludendo il tratto duro. Arrivando da giro ad anello che si chiude su Taceno in senso antiorario da Premana, Introzzo e Dervio. Ottima pedalata
Nicely tough climb. In high temperature, especially tough at bottom of climb. View at the top is beautiful. Last stretch to the real summit doable on foot. Don't want to go by mountain bike (at least......me not).
Mooi zware klim. Bij hoge temperatuur vooral onderin de klim zwaar. Uitzicht boven is mooi. Laatste stuk naar de echte top goed te doen te voet. Wil niet met de mountainbike (althans......mij niet)

Een dag die begon met regen, dat trok op een gegeven moment weg en daardoor in een vochtige, met lag wolken gevulde droomwereld gereden. Prachtig! Maar hierdoor was het uitzicht op de top natuurlijk niet best. Vervolgens via de Valvaronnevalei naar Dervio gefietst. Dat is by far het mooiste waar ik ooit gefietst heb (zelfs mooier dan Noorwegen). Dus tip! Ga na de afdaling van 'het tweede deel' linksaf ipv rechtsaf terug naar Bellano.
Erg mooie klim en, zoals gezegd, de laatste 6km behoorlijk pittig. Maar het uitzicht is het uiteindelijk waard.

Leuke klim! Laatste kilometers zijn wel de zwaarste en wegen echt door! Wel super mooi overzicht boven op het Como meer! Moet je doen als je in de geburen bent!
