The advantage of cycling in this region of the "Brabant Ardennes", if you like bumps, is that you have plenty to choose from. The climbs are always short (rarely do they exceed 100 m), but they are numerous and sometimes rough. In this respect, they have little to envy the famous "Flemish Ardennes".

Two big disadvantages: the road surface is generally not very good, in some cases even disastrous, and there is a lot of car traffic, of course because of the proximity of the capital.

As they say, you have to know the good places, the places where these two problems are less sensitive.
