Nice and firm climb from Rott through the forest. First you ride on a street along some houses but further on (at the fire station) it becomes a narrow asphalted forest road and goes up pretty steep through some tight bends. Further on the road becomes straight and then you see the climb nicely in front of you. After a small building you follow the asphalt road to the right where it goes up in a straight line to the end. You end up at a picnic place at a crossing. Straight ahead is a footpath through the nature and high moor Struffelt and both to the left and to the right you can descend on a good gravel road.
Lekker stevige klim vanuit Rott door het bos omhoog. Je rijdt eerst nog over een straat langs enkele huizen maar verder (bij de brandweerkazerne) wordt het een smalle geasfalteerde bosweg en gaat deze behoorlijk pittig omhoog door enkele flauwe bochten. Verderop wordt de weg recht en dan zie je de klim leuk voor je liggen. Na een gebouwtje volg je de asfaltweg naar rechts waar deze in een rechte lijn omhoog naar het eindpunt gaat. Je komt uit bij een picknickplaats bij een kruising. Rechtdoor gaat een wandelpad door het natuur- en hoogveengebied Struffelt en zowel naar links als naar rechts kan je afdalen over een goede gravelweg.
