The first half of this climb is quite nice, even though most of it is more false flat than a climb. There aren't many cars on this part, and the views through the valley are quite nice. This first half deserves 3 stars. The second half is another story. This part has much more traffic, especially after you join the highway with 5k to go. This makes it hard to enjoy the climb, as there are always cars passing you. This last part only deserves one star.... read more

Up to Klosters, this climb was very enjoyable. After that, the track does get a bit narrower and traffic was unpleasantly heavy on this Friday eve. Many sports cars, motorbikes, trucks and commuter traffic race past you here, exchanging the healthy Alpine air for exhaust fumes. Clearly not all drivers were equally experienced with mountain passes and some overtaking manoeuvres were questionable to say the least.

Nice climb for those who love cars racing past and appreciate the smell of exhaust fumes. All other cyclists are better off going somewhere else. But yes, if you want to go up Fuelapas you really have to go up here first. Alas.

Helaas.

Nice road with mountain views. The surface is rather average and there is a lot of traffic.
