Nice and varied climb. Also varied in terms of road surface because it varies from good tarmac to rough concrete and gravel. The concrete is pretty good to ride (or along the strip next to it) but there are worse parts where thin tyres are at risk. From the village, you ride into a nice little valley. After a while turn right and continue upwards along some houses until you pass the sign "End of Vroelen". Here the tarmac changes to concrete and this remains so during a steeper part and... read more

Here the tarmac changes to concrete and this remains so during a steeper part and until you reach the top of a hill (here nice view to the right). After the hump, a short descent on a good rideable cart track, then left on a good gravel road and further on it gets steeper again and again concrete. At the T-junction at the end (you end up on a good concrete road), there is a nice view into Belgium.
