The setting is nice, first climb in Volvic with very steep gradients, then the slope becomes more regular or even flat in the forest before a new very steep passage to Viallard where it flattens out again, then goes up slightly.
le cadre est sympa, montée d'abord dans Volvic avec de très forts pourcentages, la pente devient ensuite plus régulière voire plate dans la forêt avant un nouveau passage très pentu jusqu'à Viallard ou ça se réaplanit, puis remonte légèrement. Aucune voiture croisée à partir de la sortie de Volvic.
