Klim over de doorgaande weg vanuit het centrum van Haaren naar Verlautenheide. Bij het uitrijden van Haaren ga je het fietspad op en krijg je het steilste stukje van de klim voor de wielen. Voor de rest is het tot het einde eigenlijk een lekkere (vlas plat) loper. De top ligt op de kruising met verkeerslichten midden in Verlautenheide.

Bij het eind van de bebouwde kom van Haaren een pittig stukje maar verder is deze klim een redelijke loper. Mooie omgeving (na de bebouwde kom uitzicht over rechts), de weg lijkt wel middenin de Eifel te liggen ook omdat deze ook nog enigszins slingert. Het fietspad heeft perfect asfalt maar is wel tweerichtingsverkeer, al ben ik zelf geen tegenligger tegengekomen.
De klim lijkt voorbij bij het binnenkomen van Verlautenheide maar de weg gaat daarna toch nog even stijgen tot het eindpunt.
