You could call this climb or rather wall the beast of the Drome. You have the Angliru in Asturias and in the Drome you have the Valouse. Not normal the middle part of this climb. There are constant steps in the middle with short stretches above 20%.
The climb starts by going up the col de Valouse ( D130) from the D70. Halfway you can turn right at a house on a bit of a goat path (Angliru). The first 100 m are ok but then it starts. It is almost always straight on but after a small km you have to look up to see the road. Luckily I have a tripple on my mountain bike and I had to do a Pello Bilbao to get to the top.
But once at the top, you are glad that you made it without dismounting but with the help of Climbfinder (see extra picture). Fortunately, this beast is only 2.3 km long . Beware of the bad road surface and especially the many stones, but with a road bike it is quite doable. Fortunately no cars here because passerrn is get off and try to leave again in the middle piece.
