Spicy climb, but ok. Quite steep, with a stretch of about 15％. The climb is not that nice, so if you come for the view, this is not it.
Pittige klim, maar wel ok. Best steil, met een stuk van ongeveer 15％. De klim is niet zo mooi, dus als je voor het uitzicht komt is dit hem niet.
Not very beautiful, not very difficult (although the profile is not quite right here, as there are at least 50m in it that are over 10％. Officially, the steepest part is 15).
From Brakel, however, this is a much better option than the busy clay mountain.
Niet supermooi, niet superlastig (al klopt het profiel hier niet helemaal, want er zitten toch minstens 50m in die boven de 10％ zitten. Officieel is het steilste stuk 15％).
Vanuit Brakel is dit wel een veel betere optie dan de drukke kleiberg.
Nice tough climb through residential area with very good road surface.
I was immediately reminded of Stijn Devolder who attacked here when he won the Ronde.

I like this climb. Good asphalt and still a pretty steep gradient, always a good gauge to see how good the legs are.
Ik hou wel van deze klim. Goede asfvalt en toch een vrij pittig stijginspercentage, altijd een goede waardemeter om te zien hoe goed te benen zijn.

Short but steep slope.
Also the street before the slope, the Kerkhofstraat, and the "false flat piece" afterwards till the crossing with the Twaalfbunderstraat slope.
Quite some traffic passing by.
Nice to climb because the slope often occurs in the RVV.
Korte, toch wel steile helling.
Ook de straat voor de helling, de Kerkhofstraat, en het "vals platstuk" nadien tot het kruispunt met de Twaalfbunderstraat hellen.
Toch redelijk wat verkeer dat passeert.
Mooi om op te klimmen omdat de helling vaak voorkomt in de RVV.
