Be careful, it's brutal when you turn right for Ubine...there's time to contemplate the curious chapel under the rock on the left, even if you're working hard...Once you've crossed the narrow passage along the rock face, the slope becomes gentler and you can pass a few cows coming out of their pasture enclosure.... read more

A very difficult pass with an interminable first straight section. I advise you to turn left halfway up the climb towards Lac de Bise. The climb is much nicer and at the top you'll find a great mountain pasture with a good restaurant :-)

Great climb and much harder than the ride in suggests. Great hidden gem but remember the road surface is poor for descending and pretty much single track road.

Nice dead end climb to a small hamlet, where you could continue walking. The beginning is still very easy, but in the forest it goes quickly to the 10 %. The first part is shared with the road to Bise, also a similar climb. You cross a small river and here you keep right at the t-junction to go to Ubine. About 1 km after the fork it gets really steep, I was parked here for a while. This is the part with the crash barrier on the right. Fortunately the last part is better to do and the view at the hamlet is very nice.
