Quite a steep uphill ride along an admittedly rather busy lane but on a nice bike path ( especially the second part past the intersection). The bike path is also nicely separated from the cars by a nice and wide grass verge. You can go up here with dr big plateau but with wind up it can make your legs fill up. Many take a left half way up Roeselberg which is a bit steeper but then you have to cross the 3 lane road. The bike path in the second part is also several meters higher than the road. Many take a left half way up Roeselberg which is a bit steeper but then you have to cross the 3 lane road. The bike path in the second part is also several meters higher than the road. You can also turn left after the descent and then left again on the old Aarschotsesteenweg with a super steep section at the end that gives you almost 100 altimeters in just over 2 km.
