What a firecracker!
On a superb autumn day, the aim was to do the Gravel loop and come back down via Mont-Saxonnex.
The climb is very difficult, with steep gradients and few areas to recover... The road is good for gravel, but less pleasant for road with holes. Once you've reached the first gravel parking area, there's still a tarmac section behind which will take you to the potato fritters at Cenise's restaurant! The end of the ascent to the Col de Cenise is an impassable road, but the scenery is sublime!
