This is a great climb in the north Pennines. Good surface, great views, and very little traffic. Only downside is the gate halfway up which is often closed. Descent towards middleton from the top is tricky with a poor surface.... read more

This is a great climb in the north Pennines. Good surface, great views, and very little traffic. Only downside is the gate halfway up which is often closed. Descent towards middleton from the top is tricky with a poor surface.
