One of the best climbs I've ever done. From sealevel to 1700+ m above sea, passing throug all vegetation and climate zones, with an incredible last climb to the top. Recommend it very much!

The ascent is perhaps not very % , but it is very long and tiring. The asphalt leaves a lot to be desired, plus in high season you have to watch out for cars as the road is very narrow. There is a fee to enter the park.
The views at the summit , in fine weather, make up for all the hard climbing.

Worth taking off from the port of Makarska. Great views of the sea, with an observation deck on the way. During the holiday season it is advisable to set off at dawn and take more liquids. Beware of cars on the descents.

Warto wystartować z portu w Makarskiej. Świetne widoki na morze, Po drodze taras widokowy. W sezonie wakacyjnym warto wyruszyć o świcie i zabrać więcej płynów. Uwaga na zjazdach na samochody.

The upper part can be surprisingly cold in late September compare to lower one. You have to look at the road and find a comfy line … it’s not possible aproach speed limits on descent… but almost no critical holes on the road and because of low traffic I enjoyed it on the road bike.
