La route est un poil bosselée et bien rapiécée par les services de la voirie mais reste très acceptable.
Le début est facile et puis subitement, les pourcentages s’énervent pendant deux kilomètres plutôt costauds.
Là-haut, contre toute attente, un petit restaurant, qui propose des chambres d’hôtes, des cabanes insolites, des massages, des séances de yoga… Ce qui explique peut-être la circulation plutôt importante sur une telle petite route perdue.
Le Mont Orchez n’est pas le joyau des Alpes, mais l’ambiance est sympa et cette montée est assez agréable.
