Steyning bowl is great for a nice leg burner with a rewarding view at the top. Via Bostal road you get a little warm up kicker, slight flat section then into the steeper kicker. Definitely gets the leg burn going but is over with relatively quickly then a nice false flat to the top. Road surface isn't pristine, but on the steepest parts is all good, no need to dodge potholes.
