Station road is the easier way up to Amersham on the Hill, compared to Rectory Hill. It does suffer from quite a bit of traffic, but at least the traffic is not moving fast, due to the 30mph limit and speed camera part way up. With gradients never exceeding 6% you can make an effort on this one, although it gets a bit painful towards the top as it takes a while to unwind. Station road is the easier way up to Amersham on the Hill, compared to Rectory Hill. It does suffer from quite a bit of traffic, but at least the traffic is not moving fast, due to the 30mph limit and speed camera part way up. With gradients never exceeding 6% you can make an effort on this one, although it gets a bit painful towards the top as it takes a while to unwind.
