Done because this was the only climb where I could be back at the campsite in Sirmione within 3 hours. Nice even climb where you can ride yourself empty without being afraid of extremely steep parts. By the way, the climb is a bit longer than this profile indicates. I arrived at 10km of climbing with 550 altimeters to the top.
The descent I took to Gavardo is not recommended. Bad road surface, narrow, curvy and treacherously steep at some points.
Gedaan omdat dit de enige klim was waar ik binnen 3 uur weer terug op de camping in Sirmione kon zijn. Lekker gelijkmatige klim waar je jezelf goed kunnen leegrijden, zonder bang te zijn voor extreem steile stukken. De klim loopt overigens iets langer door dan dit profiel aangeeft. Ik kwam op 10km klimmen met 550 hoogtemeters tot de top.
De afdaling die ik nam naar Gavardo is niet aan te raden. Slecht wegdek, smal, bochtig en verraderlijk steil op sommige stukken.
Nice climb, fairly even without any jolts, but not to be underestimated. At the beginning it is wide and well asphalted, but at the villages it narrows and the asphalt becomes more uneven. At the top, you can choose whether to descend to San Gallo-Botticino or to Gavardo.
Bella salita, piuttosto regolare senza strappi, ma da non sottovalutare. All'inizio ampia e ben asfaltata, in corrispondenza dei paesi si restringe e l'asfalto diventa più irregolare. Arrivati in cima si può scegliere se scendere a San Gallo-Botticino, oppure verso Gavardo.
