Mountainous environment leading up to 1400, last few demanding kilometres, but off we go! To be joined with the Varrone Valley loop and return from Valsassina. Narrow road but few dangers (traffic of hikers only) for the famous climb (on foot) to Cima di Legnone and Legnoncino

Again, I hadn't looked closely at the profile of the climb... From Dervio, this is a wonderfully long climb that I was moping up at my own pace. I thought that the percentage to the top was about the same... Well then, you come up against yourself in the last 2.5 km!

The Italians call this climb Roccoli Lorla, by the way.
