This is the shortest cycle route between the High Fens and Schwerzfeld / Roetgen and there are cycle signposts, but bear in mind that the road surface from the border to the end of the climb is very poor. It is doable, but take it easy (advantage is that it hardly climbs at all).
Up to the border, the tarmac is fine and the road winds up through the forest from the bridge nice and snappy. Because of the bad last part, still a moderate score.
