The climb starts with a steep and beautifully winding stretch - although with poor tarmac - through the greenery up the slope. Near the houses, the road surface improves and remains so until the end, although there are bits - of several metres - of cobblestones in the Ardennenstrasse. Turn left at the church and further on turn right (here you cross the Vennbahn) between - sometimes old - houses to the highest point. A nice varied climb.
De klim begint met een steil en mooi slingerend stukje - wel met slecht asfalt - door het groen tegen de helling op. Bij de huizen wordt het wegdek beter en dat blijft het tot het eind, al zitten er in de Ardennenstrasse wel steeds stukjes - van een aantal meter - kasseien tussen. Bij de kerk linksaf en verderop rechtsaf (hier kruis je de Vennbahn) tussen - soms oude - huizen verder tot het hoogste punt. Een lekker gevarieerde klim.
