Een mooi gelegen klimmetje over een asfaltweggetje (met matig asfalt) langs enkele boerderijen richting de bosrand waar ook een schuilhut staat. Het asfalt loopt hier dood bij de slagboom. Je kan wel om de slagboom heen, de weg gaat verder als (verderop weer klimmende) gravelweg door het bos en langs windmolens richting Roetgen (er staat een fietswegwijzer aan het begin van de straat).
Klimtechnisch niet heel veel aan, slechts op het einde loopt het echt op. Wel aardige uitzichten onderweg en een leuk landschap. Voor gravelbikers een mooi alternatief voor de Himmelsleiter als je ook de lange gravelweg wilt rijden.
