Mooi, lange klim.

Beautiful road in beautiful nature. Whichever road you take, they are all equally beautiful. But you can also take this one

Long climb with a low average percentage but the intermediate descents mean you still pack in quite a few altimeters. In addition, there are also some well-feeling hills in between. The whole route runs on an asphalt road with excellent tarmac where you have good space and little traffic.

Nice road to get towards Posbank. Not really steep but varied. Bit up and down. Only at the end do you get some views. You start with an old beech avenue and end at a moor. Catering establishments in Laag-Soeren. Take it easy at Jan's bend.

Horeca in Laag-Soeren. Rustig aan bij het bochtje van Jan.

If you want to build a nice route over the Veluwezoom, feel free to start here. It smells like forest (instead of exhaust fumes) and the asphalt is perfect. Do not count on time-trial speeds (other bicycle traffic, hikers) and scorching gradients. Keep your powder dry for the vicious Snippendaalseweg and enjoy the surroundings.

Not steep, but if you don't change gears too lightly you can put a lot of pressure on your legs with the distance and the changes. Nice wide, though somewhat boring road through the woods. For me the ideal run-up to the climbs around the Posbank.

In Apeldoorn we call this route in combination with the Burgemeester Bloemersweg the Lange Juffer. It runs from Laag Soeren to the T-junction on the Posbank/Zijpenberg. It sucks :-) You can die a few times on it, dosing is difficult because of the many kinks. Nice variety of forest and heathland.

It is a nice climb, but technically it is not the best climb in the area. It is good to take this one first, it is long and not steep, so you can warm up well.

It is ideal as an access road for the real climbs, especially if you enter the Veluwezoom from the east.
