A somewhat demanding climb of intermediate distance (3-4km). It's a relatively easy climb with little to no traffic, but it may be closed during storms (due to fallen trees or landslides requiring clearing) or in the summer due to fire risk. During clearing hours, it's sometimes possible to travel, but the risk of punctures is high. The route has varying inclines between 7 and 13%, and is very scenic. It can be an excellent location for specific training.

The road is a good condition, starts with an incline almost the 10% and then a small descent. After this descent, the ascent begins... Always more than 10%, sometimes as 15% and small lighter parts... This is one of the most difficult in the Natural Park Sintra-Cascais....

An absolutely fantastic climb through the forest towards Sintra. Just after starting the climb, you get a beautiful outlook towards Cabo de Roca. The climbing is steady and the pine trees give you plenty of shade from the sun.

The road surface is great, with minimal traffic.
