Short, but not to be underestimated is the slope of Saint Wandrille. From Saint-Michel-sous-Bois the climb is very steep. A quick glance over your shoulder shows you that the church of the village is already far away. Just before entering a forest you'll reach the steepest peak of the percentages. For a while it seems to level off in the forest, but when exiting the forest it goes up quite a bit. Meanwhile you enter the open fields with nice views on the surroundings and the cows in the meadows.
Kort, maar niet te onderschatten is de helling van Saint Wandrille. Vanuit Saint-Michel-sous-Bois gaat het al snel zeer steil omhoog. Een korte blik over de schouder laat zien dat de kerk van het dorpje al ver in de diepte ligt. Vlak voor het inrijden van een stukje bos bereik je de steilste piek in stijgenspercentages. Even lijkt het in het bos wat af te vlakken, maar bij het uitrijden van het bos gaat het nog even goed omhoog. Inmiddels rijd je de open velden in met fraaie uitzichten op de omgeving en de koetjes in het weiland.
