The Route de Mondragon offers fewer gradients and less difficulty in the direction Rochegude => Bollène than vice versa. The road and scenery are always pleasant, and the section downstream on the Chemin du Colombier provides a bit of a challenge, but overall there's nothing exceptional about this section.
