The segment starts in old Rochegude, near the Château de Rochegude. For the first few hundred metres, the road is narrow and you can't see into the distance because of the 90° bends. The road is in very good condition, having been resurfaced recently. The first 3/4 of the route is smooth, but it gets a little tougher at the end before you reach the Route de Mondragon.
Le segment débute dans le vieux Rochegude, à proximité du Château de Rochegude. Sur les premiers hectomètres, la route est étroite et on ne voit pas au loin du fait de virages à 90°. La route en très bon état, elle a été refaite il y a peu. Les 3/4 du parcours sont roulants (et correspondent plutôt au Chemin du Colombier) mais ça se durcit un peu sur la fin avant de rejoindre la Route de Mondragon.
