Beautiful climb, wide road and we did the climb on 6 June and totally no traffic and when you get to the top comes the best part: the descent.....beautiful!!!
Mooie klim, brede weg en we hebben op 6 juni de klim gedaan en totaal geen verkeer en als je boven bent komt het mooiste nog: de afdaling.....prachtig!!!

Leuk als je eens iets anders wil dan de Alsace of de Servance in deze regio. Nergens echt zwaar. Wegdek is prima. En zolang er geen pipo-automobilisten op de top de toerist wil uit hangen niet al te druk. Spijtig dat ze aan de parking het asfalt niet hebben doorgetrokken anders kon je met je racefiets een ommetje kunnen maken, langs de andere kant à la col de la Loze, maar dat is dus niet het geval.

A nice climb on a quiet road. First half is easy, then a steady climb that never gets really hard. Nice climb to get into your rhythm.
Een mooie klim over een rustige weg. Eerste helft is eenvoudig, daarna een gelijkmatige klim die nooit echt lastig wordt. Mooie klim om in je ritme te komen. Bordje van de Col Rouge d Gazon staat ruim voor de top. Wil je afdalen langs de andere kant moet je achter de boerderij langs over het parkeerterrein. Daarna is er weer redelijk asfalt.

Mooie klim om mee op te warmen. Ik deed deze als eerste op dag van aankomst toen ik voor het eerst in 'de bergen' ging fietsen op mijn racefiets. Daar is deze erg geschikt voor. Begint geleidelijk en wordt steeds steiler. al een paar km er opzitten voordat het echt zwaar wordt, maar daardoor zakt de motivatie niet weg. Tegen het einde wordt het weer wat minder steil en voor je het weet ben je boven.
