This is the essential steep section to add to the D+ when cycling the Ardèche gorges. The climb up to the cross is enough, the remaining dead end is a hell of a way to get back down.
Upper part with short bends to the church is nice and spicy. Descent to La Bastide is fine. The dead end last piece to the real top is not really necessary in my opinion.
Nice climb. There is a campsite on both sides of the climb. We stayed at RCN La Bastide campsite. It's fun to drive up this climb from both sides if you have some spare time.
Leuke klim.

A spicy second part. At the end several wrong hairpin bends so the climbing percentages are well above 10%. In the beginning with reserve up. Always have some left for the small bend at about 200 meters before the summit.

Nice spicy climb especially the last part!
Leuke pittige klim vooral laatste stuk!

Strong calf bite, nice run up to finish the mountain with a tough final part !

Nice climb to ride as a time trial

A tough climb, the sting is in the tail.
Pittige klim, venijn zit in de staart.

First half is flat, but the last kilometer and a half hurts. Halfway there is a possibility to cut off a few hundred meters but then you cycle a hundred meters with a gradient of 18%. Combine with the rocher from the d11.
