Nice climb located between the Monts du Cantal and the Sancy, it offers a nice training ground if you are in the area. As you go up, the forest gives way to meadows... The road is only little frequented during the summer season.
But what makes for me the charm of this climb is its sublime view on the Cantal mountains, because at the top (shortly after the sign of the pass) we find on the left a grassy launching pad for paragliders!
