Did it last year. Madame Carle first, great climb. This one after. I thought it was a good climb. nice steep parts. Once at the top not very special, but a good climb to do on a day like this. Also not too long.... read more

Nice climb to complement Entre Les Aygues (or other short climbs in the area). Starts relatively flat, after which the gradient stays constant between 7 and 9%. Once at the top, there is not much else to do, except for a beautiful view over the Vallouise valley. There is little vegetation along the road, so you cycle in the full sun! Good road surface and little traffic.

A lovely steep climb above the picturesque village of Vallouise, after which you can enjoy a cold beer on the terrace. Because the climb is fully south facing you can do it early in the season. Nice climb to combine with one of the surrounding variants. After this I entered the Chambran and went back home in Puy St Vincent. Not even 40km and yet 1200hm. Once at the top you have to cycle through the 'village'.

Heb ‘m vorig jaar gedaan. Madame Carle eerst, prachtige klim.

Combination driven with Puy Saint Vincent and Pre de mme Carle. Really a must!
The climb has steep parts but fortunately there are also small false flat sections between the steep parts. Not very long, good road surface and the kilometers to the top are chalked on the road.

July this year in combination with Entre les Aygues and Pré de Madame Carle. This climb is shorter than the other two and I rode it last that day. It was already early afternoon then and with good weather this climb is in full sun, which was a bit tough with the other two climbs in the legs ;-) But definitely worthwhile and very quiet
