For the local riders, this is the climb to the Colombares, two hills through which you drive in the direction of Murcia. If you turn from the main road to the right, the road rises gently. The photo shows that it is just a straight road. Dirty false flat, never steep but it sucks the energy out of your legs where you sit. At the top, there is a restaurant where the locals have a siesta, the descent to Murcia is fantastic and also much more challenging as a climb. You imagine yourself in a different environment because of the mountains and views.
Voor de lokale rijders is dit de klim naar de Colombares, twee heuvels war je doorheen rijdt richting Murcia. Als je van de doorgaande weg naar rechts draait gaat de weg rustig omhoog. De foto geeft al aan dat het gewoon een rechte weg is. Vies vals plat, nooit steil maar hij zuigt de energie uit je benen waar je bij zit. Boven is een restaurant waar het voor de siesta gezellig is met de lokale bevolking, de afdaling naar Murcia is fantastisch en ook als klim veel uitdagender. Je waant je in een andere omgeving door de bergen en uitzichten.
