Pleased to have done a climb that features a lot on the Vuelta, and although 1st cat., not especially difficult. A long steady climb, with some 10% but nothing lung-busting (if like me you are going quite slowly, that is). Good scenery towards top and good road surface throughout. BUT, the 10k closest to Villalba is busy and narrow, with Arnco barriers close in. For me the routes up from Colmenar Viejo are much quieter and prettier.
