Nice climb through the center of Nijmegen. Often too busy with cars and pedestrians to really go full throttle, but if possible, go right into the gutter. This prevents you from bouncing off your bike, because the cobblestones may seem smooth, but if you make a little speed, your water bottle vibrates out of the holder!
Mooie klim door het centrum van Nijmegen. Vaak te druk met auto's en voetgangers om echt vol gas te kunnen geven, maar als het even kan, ga dan rechts de goot in. Zo voorkom je dat je van je fiets stuitert, want de kasseien lijken misschien mooi egaal, maar als je een een beetje tempo maakt, trilt je bidon zo uit de houder!
Nijmegen even has a cobblestone climb! This one you do not do for the view, the surroundings, the length or the gradient, but just because you can. And how short it is, I found it quite disappointing on the thin tires if you want to go up hard.
Nijmegen heeft zelfs een kasseienklim! Deze doe je niet voor het uitzicht, de omgeving, de lengte of het hellingspercentage, maar gewoon omdat het kan. En hoe kort ie ook is, ik vond 'm nog best tegenvallen op de dunne bandjes als je hard omhoog wil.
