The road is good and the climb is even and doable. If you continue down at the top, you rejoin the road you came from halfway down. That descending section is shorter and therefore steeper (up to 10%)with worse road surface. I think a better option is to turn right at the junction and ascend over the bad road surface (low speed) which makes you descend over good tarmac.

De weg is goed en de klim is gelijkmatig en goed te doen. Als je bovenaan doorrijd naar beneden sluit je halverwege weer aan op de weg war je vandaan komt. Dat dalende deel is korter en daarmee steiler (tot 10%)met slechter wegdek. Ik vind het een betere optie bij de splitsing rechtsaf te gaan en te stijgen over het slechte wegdek (weinig snelheid) waardoor je over goed asfalt naar beneden gaat.

I am big fan of climbing between the trees but that is hardly the case with this climb (only a bit at the beginning). Still, I found it worthwhile because you get very nice views both at the top and along the way. The centre of gravity is in the beginning of the climb, then you can keep a good pace and when you are almost at the top there is a slightly steeper bit. We did this climb as the end of our ride. You do have to go back down via the same road. Also nice that in some places you can look at the roads below. There is a lot of greenery but also a (holiday) house here and there.

Ik ben grote fan van klimmen tussen de bomen maar dat is bij deze klim nauwelijks het geval, enkel in het begin een stukje. Toch vond ik hem de moeite waard omdat je een zeer mooi uitzicht hebt, zowel boven als onderweg. Het zwaartepunt ligt in het begin van de klim, daarna kan je goed tempo houden en als je bijna boven bent komt er nog een iets steiler stukje. Wij deden deze klim als afsluiter van onze rit. Je moet wel terug naar beneden via dezelfde weg. Ook leuk dat je op sommige plaatsen naar de onderliggende wegen kan kijken. Er is veel groen aanwezig maar ook her en der een (vakantie)huisje.
