If you want to include the Vršič in a tour, you will soon arrive at the Passo Predil. For the most part, this is an easy climb on a wide but quiet road. The moment you turn off along the lake, the climb becomes a lot steeper and that lasts for a few kilometres until the end of the climb. This is also exactly the border between Italy and Slovenia (with abandoned border post of old). The lake and the descent on the other side are wonderful. The climb itself is not bad, but it is a far cry from other climbs in the area. The Predil just fits so nicely in a round trip :)
Easy climb that does offer a very nice view of Lago di Predil. Nice to see along the way, no doubt about it.
