All along the Valle del Riso you climb up to the 1,200 metres of the Zambla Pass. As I said, a regular climb, a hard stretch at the beginning and then the climb becomes pleasant, always around 5-6%. The gradients increase at the end, when the views open up and the sun exposure takes over. I will say that the road belongs to everyone, however, so many motorbikes!... read more

Like the San Marco Pass, the Zambla climb is also the territory of more or less disciplined motorcyclists... these are the two Bergamasque climbs where you have to reckon with and be a bit careful too.
Beautiful climb, long and very tough in places, small stretches of relaxation but challenging enough for those without much training, but well worth the effort. The descent to Ambria is beautiful with asphalt in excellent condition
Very nice! The mountains still covered in snow and a long but never extreme climb. Comfortable some hairpin bends. A drinking fountain at the start near a small church. Beware that it is totally sunny. Few cars, a few motorbikes
Molto bello! Poche auto, qualche moto
Varied and pleasant ascent, beautiful views, more challenging stretch in the final kilometres, definitely worth doing!
