Not a hard climb that offers beautiful views. For the first 4.5km, it doesn't even feel like a climb, but the passage through the gorge between the rocks with the river below with a thousand waterfalls is beautiful. There's enough shade all things considered. Almost magical is the passage through the forest where the climb flattens out. Asphalt that alternates between completely new stretches and shabby areas with even deep potholes. A drinking fountain at the top where you meet other cyclists. Many motorbikes relatively few cars.
Molte motociclette relativamente poche auto.
I found this, despite the seemingly mild average gradient, a tough climb. The climb is very irregular, taking you from 5% to 10% and everything in between. Together with today's hot day, it got really hot on the way. Cooling down at a little fountain and eating something helped.
The climb itself is wonderful. The first part goes through a gorge. Here, there are sometimes places where you can enter the water. Because the climb is long, I would definitely do that when it is 30+. After about a third of the climb, the opportunity to cool down disappears. You get beautiful views in return. You pass every few kilometres a village with a bar or terrace. The descent on the other side is also delicious 15 kilometres just go crazy :)
This climb is for me a must if you are in the region.
