Lots of history on this one, you can't just pass by and ignore it!
Mostly on cobbles (not the worst kind in Flanders, though, plus the crown in the road is fairly smooth), fairly steep without going too crazy in the red. I quite enjoyed it, although in the end it definitely stung quite a bit

A cobbled climb can be quite fun, but I prefer them nice and running, like the Eikenberg. The Old Kruisberg is treacherously steep and the cobbles are poor. There are lots of pits and at no point do you find a nice line. If I want to suffer this way, I prefer the Oude Kwaremont, at least then you still enjoy a nice view. The Kruisberg is not the most idyllic setting.

Really nice, steep climb, where you ride mostly on cobblestones. There are lots of cars's along the road, but the bike-loving Belgians will always pull over for you.

It's not too steep, but the cobbles make you toil. It's hard to explain the difference between these cobbles and those on other hills like the Kwaremont, but this stretch makes me sick whereas the Kwaremont does not. Despite its short length, I'm always happy to turn onto the cobbled road. I would never ride it if there hadn't been so much cycling history here

The best part is the cobbled section (they are not in the best shape). Before the cobbles you ride between buildings and after the cobbles you have a bit of stone road to overcome. Had a lot of cramps during this climb so I don't remember much about it :D

Amusing cobbles with amusing gradients: not extremely bad cobbles, but not good ones either, not extremely steep, but not simple either. So don't underestimate it, but don't overestimate it either.

This one is a bit difficult in the middle over the cobbles. They are overgrown with grass, but they are okay to drive on. You have some trees here to protect you.

This climb in the agglomeration of Ronse starts with low gradients on an asphalt road, with cars parked on both sides of the road, so if a car passes, there is not much room. After about 300m, the more difficult part starts on cobblestones, the gradients increase but you never reach very steep slopes.

Climb that starts from the center of Ronse.
First a good cadence on concrete slabs, then a good pace on the cobblestones.
The cobblestones are reasonable.
You arrive on top of the busy road of the actual Kruisberg.
This climb has been given several names: Old Kruisberg, New Kruisberg, Old Kruiskens, ...
