Op deze klim kun je eerst lekker inkomen voordat het zwaarder en zwaarder wordt. Afhankelijk van de dag en het tijdstip kan het best druk zijn met auto's. Het asfalt is niet overal geweldig maar tijdens het klimmen heb je er geen last van. Als afdaling ook prima te doen, met beleid bij de wat slechtere delen, zoals altijd. De afdaling naar Trodnau is snel en over goed asfalt.

Ik vind de beklimming van de Notschrei van deze zijde beduidend uitdagender en mooier dan vanuit Todtnau. Hoewel het een redelijk drukke weg is, houdt het verkeer goed rekening met je en omat de percentages vanaf het Steinwasen Park flink toenemen, ben je er vanaf dan toch niet mee bezig vanwege de nodige inspanning om boven te komen. Een flinke kluif!!
